The story of Douglas County, Georgia
is deep and rich. From pioneer days to our innovative
present, there is a fascinating story to tell.
As
the County repository of items and information on local history, we
preserve the stories you give us. From our creation we have
existed through the generosity of those whose donated local
artifacts and memorabilia to keep this amazing tale alive!
We have multiple exhibit rooms, both special and permanent, that
will genuinely surprise and inform.
The
Museum is a wonderful outing for visitors from elementary school to
long time residents as well as a great introduction to the area for
out of town guests.
