of Fame criteria
One
must be a current or former resident of Douglas County and have
earned National Recognition for achievement in their field.
The levels of expertise and talent represented here shows the
depth and breadth of accomplishments by noted Douglas County
citizens.
A
special exhibit room with photos, memorabilia and more is on view

Suggs:
athlete, author, teacher, champion golfer and founder of the LPGA

"Red" Palmer: inventor of the tranquilizer gun, achievements in the field

The Douglas County Museum and the
Visitor Information Center is open
Tuesday - Fridays, 10
a.m. - 5 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Groups of 10 or more wishing to tour
the Museum are requested to call ahead for a reservation.
Admission is always free, however donations are appreciated! Call
